Valais Blacknose Australia Ltd.

Valais Blacknose Australia, often referred to as VBA, began as a small, passionate club of people united by their love of the Valais Blacknose breed. From those humble beginnings, the organisation grew steadily, driven by the commitment of its members and the increasing interest in the breed across the country.

In September 2024, that growth was formalised when Valais Blacknose Australia became a fully fledged company, Valais Blacknose Australia Ltd. This milestone reflected not only the size of the organisation but the seriousness of its purpose: to support breeders at every stage of their journey, to promote the Valais Blacknose breed across Australia, and to maintain the integrity of the country's only fully DNA-verified Valais Blacknose registry.

Today, VBA represents breeders from across the country and continues to grow. We are member-owned and member-run, and everything we do is in service of the breed and the people who are passionate about it.

Valais Blacknose Australia Ltd is a Member-Owned and Member-Led Organisation

Each year at the Annual General Meeting, breeder members have the opportunity to nominate themselves or fellow members for election to the Board of Directors, which is responsible for leading the organisation.

As a member-driven society, we are committed to seeking the guidance and endorsement of our membership to ensure that VBA continues to operate in a manner that reflects the collective interests and direction of its members.
